Video On Demand with Your Library Card
Kanopy
Kanopy allows you to stream over 30,000 films from hundreds of popular producers such as The Criterion Collection, The Great Courses, BBC, and PBS, as well as thousands of independent filmmakers – on every topic imaginable and Kanopy Kids! Kanopy’s collection is always-available which means no waiting. Please note: This service is only available to Cooper-Siegel and Sharpsburg Community Library card holders who are also residents of the FCASD (Aspinwall, Blawnox, Fox Chapel, Indiana, O’Hara and Sharpsburg).
Getting started:
- Create an account by clicking on the orange “Add a Library Card” button on our Kanopy page.
- Go to your email account to verify your email address.
- Add your library card number and PIN.
- Start watching movies!
Additional information:
- Receive 20 tickets per month. Most films are between 2-4 tickets. Learn more about tickets here.
- Once you press play on a film, you will have between 48-72 hours (depending on the film) to view it as many times as you like without using more tickets.
- Once you have used all your tickets, you will not be able to play any films until the new month starts.
- You can access Kanopy from any device, including Roku, iOS, and Android apps.
