Cooking with Kids!

Join Registered Dietician, Althea Bradley for a class that will focus on getting you and your kiddos eating whole foods and loving every bite. We will focus on kid friendly snacks, quick meals, and grab & go foods that will help you skip the drive through. You will leave armed with tips and recipes for kid approved foods that adults will enjoy too. Note: Register just the 1 adult accompanying the child ($20 for the pair). Althea Bradley MPH, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian with over 18 years of experience in various settings including community, clinical, and program development. Althea’s passion is empowering individuals and families to eat well…to be well! Her goal is to help each person sift through all the nutrition “noise” and find relevant information so that together they can set realistic/ achievable nutrition goals. She prides herself on being practical and approachable. She believes that each person falls somewhere on the Illness-Wellness continuum and that by working together she can help each person move closer to optimal health. Althea’s approach to nutrition therapy includes whole person assessment and interventions that include fine tuning macro and micro nutrient intake, meal planning, supplement selection, food sensitivity and allergy management, cooking classes, and grocery store tours.

Designed for preschool kiddos and a caregiver, this STEAM-themed story time with Ms. Alison includes a dynamic story highlighting a Science/Technology/Engineering/Art/Math theme followed by a hands-on activity that engages little learners and grown-ups together! We'll also share strategies for exploring science and more at home.

Topics we'll cover: drone market details types of drones skills and qualifications needed to operate commercially how to obtain a “licensed to fly” - FAA Part 107 certification drone safety 101 The cost of it all Attendees will get “stick time” with a drone and learn the basics of throttle, pitch, yaw and roll while competing in a fun aerial challenge.
