Snowshoeing at Hartwood Acres

January 27 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Free 11 spots left

Try your hand (foot?) at snowshoeing with Allegheny County Parks! We're going outside the library today to do some showshoeing (weather permitting - let's hope for lots of snow!) at Hartwood Acres. Beginners to advanced, ages 13+ welcome! The program is free, but snowshoe rentals  are $10/person. Feel free to bring your own if you have 'em. This fun winter activity is a great way to get out and see the park in the wintertime while also getting your body moving! Because this is a winter program and requires at least 6" of snow, if we don't have enough of the white-stuff, the group will take a guided brisk and fun winter hike instead so come anyway! Meet at the Middle Road Parking Lot. Register online - limited space.
