Join us for a very special Spring tea with Ann Troxell from The Beatrix Potter Society. Her presentation will cover the life and works of Beatrix Potter. Most widely known as the author/illustrator of the “Little Books”. Enjoy Simpson and Vail’s Beatrix Potter Herbal Tisane Blend tea, chamomile, Republic of Tea’s Peter Rabbit’s Garden Tea as well as a assortment of English afternoon teas. The event will also be catered by Curbside Coffeehouse. In addition to your tea, you’ll enjoy a 1/2 chicken salad croissant (cranberry almond or lemon) and a baked good. Adults 18+. Ann Troxell has been a member of The Beatrix Potter Society for almost thirty years. Since 2001 she has participated in the Reading Beatrix Potter and Introducing Beatrix Potter programs, presenting at numerous local schools, colleges, libraries, bookstores and other venues. She has also presented programs in several locations from Massachusetts to Georgia. In 2014 Ann assumed the duties of Reading Beatrix Potter Organizer for US and Canada. She also became the Introducing Beatrix Potter Organizer for US and Canada in the fall of 2018. Ann enjoys sharing her enthusiastic appreciation of Beatrix Potter’s life and works with children and adults. A lifelong resident of Murrysville, she is a retired Learning Support Teacher from the Franklin Regional School District.
